CRC Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan (2023–2028)

The Commonwealth Regional Council’s Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies natural hazard risks and outlines strategies to reduce vulnerability across all seven counties in Planning District 14: Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward. Developed in partnership with localities and funded through FEMA’s Building Resilient Infrastructure in Communities (BRIC) program, this plan supports regional coordination in preparing for floods, severe storms, wildfires, and other hazards.
