Community members are invited to attend the Phase 1 kickoff meeting for the BOOMS Project (Building Opportunities on Main Street) in the Town of Kenbridge.
The Commonwealth Regional Council, in partnership with Hill Studio and the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, will share information and gather community input to support a proposed National Register of Historic Places nomination. The designation is honorary and non-regulatory, and local history and perspectives are an important part of the process.
